Location

We are based on the fabulous West Coast of Scotland, providing Bed & Breakfast accommodation right in the heart of the North West Highlands region, and the NC500 driving/cycling route passes by our door!  There are 4 EV charging points in the village, less than 500m from the house.

Castle Cottage is situated at the centre of Lochcarron village and so an ideal base for exploring, with galleries, potteries, bistro, pub and assorted cafes all within walking distance.  A Munro baggers heaven, this is a wonderful area for enjoying the outdoors, whether your interests include the high peaks, climbing, wild swimming, walking, fishing, bird-watching, kayaking, cycling, sailing, or a spot of retail therapy in any one of the fabulous craft centres and galleries around us.

We are ideally placed for exploring Skye, the Applecross Peninsula (where a meal at the famous Applecross Inn is a must!) via the infamous Bealach Na Ba, Torridon, Kintail, Eilean Donan to name a few.

For Munro Baggers/Walkers, we can help with walk drop off/pick ups (with a bit of notice). If you have any questions regarding our accommodation or how we can support your trip then please don’t hesitate to contact us, either by phone on 01520 722828, email info@castle-cottage-lochcarron.co.uk or fill in our contact form here
